University of Santo Tomas high school standout Andrei Dungo has committed to play for De La Salle University in college, while Jonnel Policarpio has parted ways with the Green Archers.Dungo and Policarpio confirmed the development to GMA News Online on Wednesday.The UST HS product will be eligible for UAAP Season 87 as he is expected to join the likes of Most Valuable Player Kevin Quiambao and the rest of the Green Archers in their title defense.Dungo is part of the Mythical Team in the Season 86 juniors NBA tournament and posted averages of 14.86 points, 8.07 rebounds, 4.36 assists, and 2.79 steals in his only season for the España-based squad.Prior to UST, Dungo played for San Beda University-Rizal in NCAA Season 98.Meanwhile, Policarpio parted ways with the Taft-based squad after playing for just one season.The forward, who was part of the Season 86 championship team, had averages of 7.33 points, 5.17 rebounds, and 2.58 assists per game during the elimination round.Policarpio, however, said he has yet to decide on his future plans.”Sa ngayon po wala pa po [decision],” Policarpio said in a message.—JKC, GMA Integrated News
