The former commissioner of the VisMin Super Cup claimed the league pushed for high quality of it games, a day after the Senate committees on Sports and Games and Amusement tackled the proposed Anti Game-Fixing Act.Cris Bautista, the league’s former commissioner, said this in a statement reported on 24 Oras on Thursday.”Our group made sure that we will adhere to our vision of upholding high quality of games, which is why we decided to come up with a tournament spiced up by former collegiate imports to raise the level of our competitiveness,” Bautista, who is currently the president of Pilipinas Super League, said in a statement.The controversial game between Siquijor and Lapu-Lapu in the VisMin Super Cup back in 2021 was part of the Senate discussion on the proposed Anti Game-Fixing Act.
