It’s official: Olsen Racela is the new head coach of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA men’s NBA team.The Altas made the announcement on Thursday. Racela and Perpetual agreed “in principle” for the head coaching job back in December. He will replace Altas coach Myk Saguiguit. Perpetual team manager Scottie Thompson previously said he is hopeful on the players’ adjustment to their new coach and system.The Las Piñas-based squad fell short of a Final Four spot as it finished with 10 wins and eight losses in Season 99.Racela, however, will have the likes of Jun Roque and Cyrus Nitura next season.—JKC, GMA Integrated News
